My trip to the Frieze Art Fair was a long but interesting day. i wish i had got up there even earlier as it was so massive. There was so much to inspire me, one of my favorite pieces were these by Erik Parker titled 'Torn', 'Blab' and 'Luck' . They remind me of psychedelic hallucinations but at the same time are a good example at the way the Frieze Art Fair made me feel, at first you don't know where to start but just make your way to the bit that intrigues you the most and then work from there as there is so much to take in but most of it is so engaging that you spend more time looking at one thing and then don't really give enough to anything else. The hustle and bustle of the fair aside these pieces also remind me of fruit machines with their bright colors and feel of movement about them but the other thing that very similar about them is the fact that they all seem to take a familiar shape of a face, distorted as it maybe you can still see the emotion relevant to their titles.
